BACKGROUND
Established in 1983, Working Title is a film production studio headquartered in London with a branch in Los Angeles. Although the studio is well-known for its romantic comedy films, Working Title creates a variety of film genres that serve global audiences. One of the studio’s primary focuses is on the practice of meticulous scriptwriting and rewrites.
DESIGNSince Working Title has the craft in writing, the visual identity emphasizes this idea by using the industry-standard layout and margins for a screenplay as well as the different paper colour coding system when it comes to revisions to specific scenes of the film throughout the production. The use of the mono type and the motif of the three-holes complement the formatting of the scripts. The colons that follow the wordmark provide the connotation that there would be space to put a working title of a film.
